Arsenal faced arguably their biggest test of the season so far against a strong Blackburn side but they passed it with flying colours with goals from Arshavin and Walcott ensuring a 2-1 win.
Despite early pressure from Blackburn, Arsenal soon managed to get their passing game going and were soon in the lead with Van Persie setting up a superb Theo Walcott strike. However the game was far from over as Blackburn slowly got back in the game. Boosted by the news of Van Persie going off with an ankle injury, Diouf, on loan from Mancheseter United, ensured that Blackburn went into half-time level.
As the second half kicked off any fear of a repeat of the second half at Anfield were put to one side after Arshavin made it 2-1. A calm finish from the Russian but credit should go to Bacary Sagna who played a vital role in assisting the goal. Arsenal managed to hold onto the lead and earned themselves their best start to a Premier League season for 3 years.

Diaby: Looked very composed on the ball and didn't let the Blackburn midfield bully Arsenal.
